Excellent care. Dr. Erakat knew the procedure inside and out. His confidence instilled confidence in me, his patient. That's usually half the battle when it comes to dentistry.Nirav S.
Did my research about Dr Erakat and yes he did a great job to remove my wisdom teeth ( 2 out of 4). Yes I would recommend him to others.Ena B.

The Essential Aspects Of Dental Implants

Single Tooth Implant

One of the most common dental implant procedures is the single tooth implant. If you are missing a single tooth or if one of your teeth is damaged beyond repair, you can get a dental implant to replace both the natural tooth and the root. The implant is like a screw, which is surgically placed into your jaw and over the course of the next few months, the jaw and the implant are allowed to bond with each other to form a strong anchor for the artificial tooth. During the time the bond strengthens, you can wear a temporary tooth replacement until the permanent one can be set into place.

Multiple Tooth Implants

Now in the same vein, if the dental expert has exhausted all options and several of your teeth cannot be restored to their best condition, there is a dental implant procedure to fix the problem. Multiple tooth implants can be inserted to replace both the lost natural teeth and the roots. Just like with single tooth replacement, individual implants are surgically attached to your jaw. The difference is that they are implanted on a bridge attached to the jaw, which means the individual implants do not need to rely on support from the natural teeth next to them. You can wear temporary replacements while the implants bond with the jaw and set themselves into place.

Implant-Supported Dentures

Implant-supported dentures are a type of overdentures that are attached to the gums through the implants surgically attached to the jaws. While implant-supported dentures work like standard dentures, they do a little more than traditional dentures. Implant-supported dentures can be removed if needed. But, once set in place, they are stable. This is a dental implant procedure to help people with dentures who have issues with loose fitting or uncomfortable dentures. Implants placed in the jaw are anchored firmly and the dentures snap into the implants to keep it secure and stable.
